DisclosureTrail is built to store as little as possible. Here's exactly what happens to your data, section by section.
Everything you type into the form on the homepage — client name, deliverable, AI tools used, reviewer name, dates, notes — stays in your browser. It's never sent to any server. The statement is generated by JavaScript running on your device, and the moment you close or refresh the tab, it's gone. We have no database, no login, and no way to see or recover what you generated.
If you choose to join the waitlist for the paid product, you'll enter your email into a form embedded from Tally. That submission is stored by Tally and synced to a private Google Sheet that only the site operator can access. It's used for one purpose: to let you know when the paid tool is ready. It is not sold, shared with advertisers, or used for anything else. Joining the waitlist is entirely optional and has no effect on your ability to use the free tool.
Traffic on this site is measured with Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first, cookieless analytics service. It reports aggregate numbers — page views, referrers, rough geography — and does not fingerprint or individually track visitors. No advertising or cross-site tracking scripts are used anywhere on this site.
This site does not set its own cookies. The waitlist form (hosted by Tally) and analytics (Cloudflare) may use minimal first-party technical cookies required for those services to function; neither is used for cross-site ad tracking.
